Lake Uzunkel in Trabzon
The natural lake Uzungel is known not only within Turkey, tourists from many countries come to visit it. The lake is extremely beautiful, located among mountains and magnificent nature. It was formed about 5 centuries ago when the Hellen dam blocked the Haldinese River. The water in the lake is fresh, the circumference is about 7 kilometers, and it is located at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. Fog often covers the lake at night, which makes the view even more beautiful and mysterious. We will take a walk near the lake, listen to its history and inhale the aromas of mountain nature.

Hagia Sophia (Trabzon)
The construction of the church is unusual and very beautiful, the only dome consists of twelve corners. Inside, the mosque cathedral is decorated with ancient mosaics and is considered one of the most beautiful churches. Hagia Sophia (Hagia Sophia) was built in 1238-1263 by Manuel I. In 1461, Mehmed II captured Trebizond and turned the cathedral into a mosque. During the First World War, when the city was occupied by Russian troops, the cathedral housed a military hospital and a warehouse. Then it was used again as a mosque. In 1964, after the restoration carried out by the University of Edinburgh in 1958-1964, the cathedral became a museum. In April 2013, the cathedral was turned into a mosque again.
