Tour program
Prometheus Cave (Kumistavi Cave)
The first point of an individual excursion is the Kumistavi Cave, also known as the Prometheus Cave. Prometheus Cave was discovered in 1984 and since that time it has been a cultural heritage and the largest cave in Georgia.
The walk in the cave itself will take about 60 minutes. Inside the cave is equipped with footbridges, paths and railings, which allows tourists to feel free and safe in the space of the cave.
Groundwater, growths (stalactites and stalagmites) and many other elements of the cave atmosphere. Special lighting of different colors and dynamics in different places of the cave, from where classical compositions play, add interest and romance to the walk.
Chkondidi Monastery (XII century)
The second point of the individual excursion will be the cable car that stretches to the ancient monastery of Chkondidi.
Here you will have the opportunity to walk under the old coniferous trees, look at the unique, historical architecture and listen to stories about the monastery from our guide.
Those who wish can go to the church, where old icons hang and unique frescoes are painted.
Martvili Canyon
A short drive, and we are at one of the famous canyons in Georgia, Martvili.
It’s not every day that you get the chance to look down behind the waterfall, enjoying the sight of noisily falling water. Great location for photos and videos.
Those who wish can diversify water walks by sailing along the river in a boat. We recommend not to rush to enjoy the views, because this is a walk, not hauls. Here you can make unique and beautiful shots.
Dinner in a Georgian family and wine tasting
